The figure below shows the main DAQ Plot interface with 16 channel output and a two y-axis time graph. DAQ Plot is multithreaded so user interface adjustments do not interfere with data acquisition. Voltage readings can be plotted on either a one or two y-axis graph. At a click of the button the plot can be exported to Vvidget Builder for access to thousands of layout features to make publication ready results.

DAQ Plot is portable and robust. Take it anywhere you go for an instant data acquisition system. There is no complex setup or wires to deal with. Power is supplied through the USB cable (upto 500mA). Engineers take it to the field for in-situ testing as well as use it for fixed laboratory data acquisition.
• Portable and self contained.
• Quick setup.
• Reliable.
• Turns any laptop into a powerhouse of a testing system.
• Access to other bells and whistles, such as Vvidget Builder, right from your data acquisition computer.
DAQ Plot is a general purpose data acquisition application where users see results right away. Because of the instantaneous feedback and intuitive results even hard to tackle issues become understandable.

For more complex and distributed needs DAQ Plot accepts multiplexed hardware on one or more USB buses.
• Extensible simply by connecting additional DAQ devices.
• Intermix pro or standard hardware to satisfy different needs.
• Use common USB extenders, hubs and wireless hubs to distribute the DAQ devices throughout a factory or laboratory setting.
• Use powered hubs for more power draw from the DAQ hardware voltage source connectors or use your own power source.
• DAQ Plot can interleave multiplexed signals for a wide variety of processing.

DAQ Plot includes advanced features like realtime adaptive nonlinear model estimation for curve fitting.
• Built-in advance processing.
• No programming required.
• Easy to use and to tune for specific purposes.
• Based on a concise mathematical model.
• Advanced uses such as multi-stage composite mapping.

The adaptive model is robust enough to transform a noisy signal into a meaningful first derivative. Since the derivative calculation is in realtime it can be used for a dynamic feedback loop. For example, if temperature increases too quickly then the feedback loop can alter the position of a valve.
• Supports many transform types including first and second derivative and integration.
• Centered, forward, bin and running averages.
• Trigger detection and speed computations.
|
|
When you turn off the adaptive model then you can see how calculating the first derivative is impossible.
• Advanced features that work and are needed.
• Implementation of features and theoretical models that have a purpose and are founded on years of experience solving data acquisition and analysis problems.
• Advance features are accessible through the user interface and require no programming.
• Optional programming kit gives unbounded capabilities.

(Note the derivative is on a scale reduced 6 fold, so noise really corrupts non-filtered calculations.) |
Many more features, such as the xy plot below, are available with DAQ Plot. DAQ Plot has three interface styles from simple to professional. The simple style gives access only to immediately understandable settings and features. Its direct and non-cluttered appearance is perfect for straight forward voltage readings. The professional style shows all the options including nonlinear transforms, channel remapping, meta device settings, data logger programming settings and a whole lot more. DAQ Plot is designed from the ground up to be stylishly graceful in simplicity and stylishly sophisticated in features. Either way it is designed to deliver function in addition to form.
