VVI Spot tracks your location and plots it on the iPhone. Click the graph and then as you move around your locations will plot and soon form a trajectory of your movements.

The pictures below show example Spot screenshots on the iPhone. I clicked the graph and then walked around two blocks while Spot did its job. I walked at an average rate of about 3.5 miles per hour and for a distance of 0.66 miles, as shown in the title of the graph. My trajectory was an approximate figure eight, which is what it should be for walking around two nicely laid out city blocks while crossing the road in the middle. The first picture is with dots only while the second picture is with dots connected by lines.

The next pictures show the same walk but in a landscape orientation by turning the iPhone on its side.

If you use this Spot application then I highly recommend you take a long walk or a jog and enjoy your iPhone as well as the outdoors while you track your favorite trail.
